The New River Gorge in West Virginia is one of the newest national parks in the U.S. The area has many scenic sights that are perfect for fall foliage photography, including bridges, fog, overlooks, and waterfalls. The crown jewel, however, is the Glade Creek Grist Mill in nearby Babcock State Park. Photographers travel from all over the Mid Atlantic region and beyond to capture its rustic mill and water wheel, perched above a waterfall and reflecting pool, and surrounded by fall foliage.
