Deep within the Denali National Park is the Toklat River, a braided stream that is a common feature in the park boundaries. Toklat River is a glacial fed stream, and while being pristine waters, is so loaded with silt that it is a milky grey in color. These few photos capture the different moods of fall weather in Denali NP at the same spot, only a day apart. The Toklat area also gained significant attention while we were in the park, as a hiker was fatally mauled by grizzly bear not far from this spot, the first such fatal bear attack in the park’s long history.
