The Cypress Swamps of Caddo Lake on the border of Louisiana and Texas are an amazing southern treasure. In the fall, the needles on the cypress trees turn yellow, orange, and red–creating a wonderful display of color–before falling off for the winter. Add to that tons of spanish moss, fantastic light, and morning sea smoke, and you have a stunning display of nature.
