Arches NP is a landscape of contrasting colors, land forms and textures unlike any other in the world. The park has over 2,000 natural red sandstone arches, in addition to hundreds of soaring pinnacles, massive fins and giant balanced rocks. While my favorite spot to visit is Delicate Arch, there are many different areas to explore.

The last part of the trail leading to Delicate Arch is an exciting elevated path carved into the side of the rising sandstone cliff.

A panoramic view of the sandstone bowl where Delicate Arch sits. Delicate arch is the most iconic location in the Arches NP. It is a very popular spot for hikers, sightseers, and photographers, and you can expect a lot of company when you visit the site.

Taken on a hot summer day, the arch is flanked by beautiful clouds that build throughout the day, making for nice late afternoon images.

Soft morning hues of twilight near the Park Avenue section of the park. The first rays of sunrise are illuminating the tall red rock spires called Park Avenue, the Organ, and Courthouse Towers. The heads of the Three Gossips are getting their first glimpse of the sun as well.
