Yellowstone National Park offers many interesting opportunities for winter landscape images. Steam, frost, and deep snow adorn mountains, rivers, waterfalls, trees, rolling hills, and wide open spaces, all illuminated by an ever changing light. Our visit was highlighted by extremely cold temperatures (usually ranging from -10 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit) and extremely deep snow, as the previous month had been one for the record books.
