Old trucks conjure up visions of rural living in a bygone era. Often you will see them sitting on the property of an old farm. Occasionally, you will find places where old trucks have, for one reason or another, been collected and now lie in ruin. One such place is commonly called “The Truck Graveyard”, in Columbia, Virginia. The owners of the P L Duncan Trucking property have dozens of vintage trucks scattered across their property, in various stages of decay and ruin. This site has been popular place with photographers, and the many intimate details of the trucks make for interesting vignettes of a disappearing time period.
