Grizzly on the Fall Tundra. In the fall, the bears in the park are eating massive amounts of berries to build up their storage of body fuel for the long winter that is soon to arrive.
In the fall, moose are in their rutting season, and can be frequently seen in the evenings among the brush along the Savage River section of the road.
