My sister Lisa sporting one of her Irish sweaters. In the background is the ruins of a castle called Ballycarberry that was located not far from the ring forts in my last post. One of my favorite things about these particular sights in the Kery Peninsula is that you pretty much had the places to your self, and you could wander and explore these sites on your own without supervision and free of charge. This was certainly not the case at most of the better known tourist and heritage sites across Ireland.
